The Screaming Eagle Patch 
The 101st Airborne Division’s most well-known patch is the Screaming Eagle. This exceptional emblem is a white hawk with its wings reached out on a blue scenery. It’s a strong portrayal of the division’s fearless battling soul and airborne legacy.
Additional Airborne 101st Patches
The 101st Airborne Division has worn a variety of patches throughout its history to represent distinct units, missions, and campaigns in addition to the Screaming Eagle. Some of these are among them:
Unit Patches: Within the division, individual regiments, battalions, and support units frequently have their own patches that feature the Screaming Eagle or other distinguishing marks.
Campaign Patches: These patches signify involvement in certain campaigns or wars, including the Vietnam War, the Korean War, World War II, or more current missions.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (SSI), though not strictly a patch, is a distinguishing symbol that is worn on the upper arm to identify the wearer’s unit. The 101st Airborne Division’s very own SSI features the Screaming Eagle.
