Army Air Corps Patch Authentic Insignia
The Army Air Corps (AAC) patch or “Flying Wing” patch was the official emblem of the United State Army Air Corps which succeeded and is now comparable to today’s United States Air Force. The AAC patch includes a wing in silver color with a red frame. This wing is set against a blue background and the letters 
AAF are printed in white in the center of the wing. The patch is worn on the upper arm side of the uniform, to the left above the elbow.
The AAC patch represents the Army Air Corps role in the role of World War II and the allied forces triumph. The AAC was to support its ground forces, transport goods and people and execute the tactical bombing plan. The AAC was also involved in mapping out new aircraft and aviation technologies.
