Heat the Iron

Check the attachment of the patch after lifting the protecting cloth. Reheat the affected edges if they remain loose for another few seconds more.
Cool Down
Complete warming time should pass until it is safe to touch the uniform. A proper setting of the adhesive requires time to pass after heat application.

Excessive heating will cause both the patch and uniform fabric to become damaged.
For protection of the patch and uniform keep using a thin cloth as your protecting material.
To achieve maximum durability for worn-out sections you should add a final step of sewing the patch edges once it has cooled down.
